In this dire political moment, people are joining together across movements to challenge corporate power and fix our broken systems.
That’s the main idea in “Daring Democracy,” a hopeful new book by Corporate Accountability advisory board member, and long-time supporter, Frances Moore Lappé and coauthor Adam Eichen. You might know Lappé’s previous book, “Diet for a Small Planet.” Frances and Adam are speaking in Boston this coming month about the book.
Join them:
- February 15, 6 p.m. at the Boston Public Library in Copley Square, 700 Boylston Street in Boston, MA
- February 18, 12:30 p.m. at the First Church Boston, 66 Marlborough Street in Boston, MA
Wendy Fields, executive director of the Democracy Initiative, calls Daring Democracy “The book the democracy movement has been waiting for.”
