Big tobacco is the greatest threat to FCTC implementation. Parties have made incredible progress implementing the lifesaving measures of the World Health Organization’s Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC), and much of this progress stems from decisions made at the Conferences of the Parties (COPs).
This document includes requirements and recommendations of FCTC Article 5.3 and its guidelines, which prohibits the tobacco industry from having any role in policy making.
