Hey Boston: Come rock against the TPP!

By

The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement is a corporate power grab that would be a disaster for the environment, workers’ rights, our health, and more. Which is why you have taken action to stop its passage again and again.

But corporate lobbyists are at it again, trying to quietly rush the TPP through Congress this fall. We won’t let that happen! And this time some incredible musicians are drawing attention to the issue with a free series of concerts: the Rock Against the TPP tour.

We’re teaming up with an awesome group of musicians and celebrities to organize a nationwide roadshow featuring high profile speakers and performers coming together to educate the public about the grave threat the TPP poses to our most basic rights.

The tour is coming to Boston soon, and it’s going to be great. Click here to RSVP!

Here are the details:

Rock Against the TPP Concert
Fri, October 7th, 2016. 6pm – 10pm
@ Spontaneous Celebrations,
45 Danforth Street, Jamaica Plain, MA
All ages.
FREE! RSVP required, click here.

Featuring: Mirah, Debo Band, Foundation Movement, and more.

The TPP was negotiated in secret with corporate lobbyists at the table. It would make it easier for global corporations to sue countries for implementing public health measures. It would undermine environmental protections, laws safeguarding human rights, the existence of an open Internet, and so much more.
